Be the Inaugural Leader of a New Program for Jewish Teens
Location: West Chester, PA 19380
This is a Part Time granted position, with funding from the Weinberg Family Foundation, administered by Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, averaging 20 hours per week. This is a leadership and management position working synergistically with the Kehillah, all congregations, and Jewish teen entities throughout the greater Chester County area.
Work with the Advisory Committee (local Ed directors + BBYO professional) to plan, develop and implement the JTeensCC program.
Report to the Oversight Board approximately 4 times per year.
Plan content, logistics, and staff for experiential opportunities, mifgashim, trips, etc. to create personal, respectful, open, and safe experiences for positive learning and engagement with the Jewish people and heritage for teens, regardless of identities.
Work in conjunction with part time marketing staff person to create recruitment, promotion, and regular communication with parent and teen stakeholders.
Coordinate and supervise logistics, staff, and content for regularly scheduled sessions (mifgashim) scheduled to begin in January, 2023.
Participate in professional staff development.

The ideal candidate has:
- Bachelors degree or higher in a related field.
- Experiential education experience with teens, ideally in a Jewish setting.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team to explore new ideas
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
